The FileSwap Client Installer may prompt you during installation to download additional components. If you receive the "Your internet connection has dropped out …" error, then an error has occurred while downloading these additional components. This usually means that your internet connection has dropped out in the middle of the download, or a piece of software is blocking the download. Please ensure any software (such as security/anti-spyware/anti-virus software) is not filtering downloads on the FileSwap Client Installer or the following domains: FileSwap.com
This application has failed to start ...
If you experience this error, it is because you do not have the Microsoft Visual C++ runtime files installed. These files can be downloaded from Microsoft's website. If you are running a 32-bit version of Microsoft Windows, then you will only need to install the 32-bit version of the Microsoft Visual C++ runtime files. If you are running a 64-bit version of Microsoft Windows, then you will need to install both 32-bit and 64-bit versions.

FileSwap is currently installed on this computer. Your previous installation must be uninstalled before installing a new copy.
If you experience this error, it is because you have already installed the FileSwap software. You do not need to install the software more than once. If you are upgrading to a newer version, you will need to uninstall the previous version. You may uninstall previous versions in your system's program manager.

The installer requires that version 3.1 be installed on your computer. this can either be installed by Microsoft via "Windows Update" or by downloading it directly from Microsoft here or by allowing the installer to automatically download it and install it for you. This may or may not require a computer reboot.
